Since 1976, the Condos family has hand-crafted furniture in their Sydney workshop. Harrison and Nicholas’ passion for design, detail, and architecture, drove them to grow their father’s company, Tecno Furniture, with an export arm; Harbour 1976. The intricate details of metalwork and craftsmanship have been carefully passed down from one generation to the next.
Much of the fusion of traditional and modern elements in their designs can also be traced to the brothers’ Australian roots. The designers reference the country’s modern beach houses, which blend effortlessly into the rugged coastline, as a prime example of the beauty created in welding techniques.
Harbour 1976 focuses on creating outdoor furniture of unique design, incredible durability, and a deep sense of culture derived from the harsh climates that Australians call home. All pieces are built to withstand a variety of climates and made with beautiful but durable materials like powder-coated aluminum and mildew-resistant upholstery. We invite you to share in this legacy, and take a step outside, to enjoy the great outdoors with us.
