|The Elephante Rooftop Beach House is an alfresco, Mediterranean-style lounge and restaurant with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean.
The open-air setting utilises natural materials such as natural wood, copper and stone furniture to add an organic feel to the setting. The decor is expertly tied together with the use of Harbour 1976 furniture, including the Pacific collection, which boasts sustainable and handcrafted materials, including natural A-Grade Indonesian Teak. The mix of different natural materials creates a beautiful harmony between the beachy setting while keeping a chic and trendy feel.
The Elephante team have created a space where people can get away from the chaos and lounge for a peaceful moment, enjoying good food, drinks and views.
In 2016, lahznimmo architects were engaged by Roads and Maritime Services to help with the redevelopment of the deteriorated Elizabeth Bay Marina in Sydney. Their design approach was to work with the palette of materials and forms associated with the site and traditional working maritime facilities.
Harbour 1976 was approached to provide an outdoor setting which reflected a modern design aesthetic and used materials designed to withstand the harsh coastal climate, including sustainably harvested plantation teak, Sunbrella fabric and powder-coated aluminium.
